Trebbiano is a white-berried variety. The product derived from this variety is a light wine to be consumed preferably within a year from its harvest.
Its high ability to be adapted to different climate zones and territories makes it a variety that is widespread on most of the Italian territory, besides being present in some regions of France and California.
TREBBIANO D’ABRUZZO: its origins can be traced back to the XVI century, now it can be found all over the territory of Abruzzo with a widespread presence in every province (Pescara, Chieti, l’Aquila and Teramo).
It grows preferably in moderately hilly zones (500-600 m on the sea level), thus the climate conditions of Abruzzo are ideal to optimize its characteristics.
